Stichting SLA
SLA, is an acronym for Slimme Architectuur, the Dutch translation for
Smart Architecture. But SLA in Dutch also means lettuce, a main product
of our agricultural industry known for its 'greenness' and 'freshness'.
SLA aims to be as green and fresh as a lettuce-leaf.
Articles
The articles for the smartgrid have been written by Piet Vollaard,
Jacques Vink and Marc Neelen. The translations are made by Stacey Murphy.

The magazine Detail in Architectuur (DiA), has been our offline
publishing platform. Several of the texts on this site were published
in Dutch and illustrated with projects. Hardcopies of the issues with
our contribution's (10,11,12 (1998)) can be ordered through Ten Hagen

From January 1999 on a column 'Building for the temporality'
is published on a monthly base in DiA.
SLA
The for Smart Architecture Foundation, was founded in January 1998 by
Piet Vollaard and Jacques Vink. Its aims are to start an international
discussion on smart architecture and publish an inventory of current
smart projects and ideas.
